JL Kapoor Memorial Trust has been formed in the loving memory of Late Shri J.L.KAPOOR (24th Feb 1945 – 05th Aug 2003) who passed away at a age of 58 years to leave his family and friends bereaved.

​

Born on 24th February 1945 in Lyallpur (Now Pakistan) migrated to New Delhi, India during partition with his family. Did his schooling and higher education in Delhi itself, after completing his graduation he joined the aviation industry during his long career in the aviation industry he travelled around the world and came across the different culture and societies of the world, later on he joined as an Advisor to his Excellency President of SRI LANKA in the ministry of Policy Planning and Implementation and stayed till the UDP Government was in Power. in the year 1994 he resigned from the post of an Advisor and shifted to Gurgaon, Haryana, INDIA with his family and lived till the last minute of his life in Gurgaon.

Like a true leader and fighter, he fought for his life till very last minute but unfortunately, on Aug, 5th 2003, the angels from heaven above took his soul into peace.

Always been known to be a leader, he led his life as a hero, helping anyone and everyone who needed support. He as a person who deeply believed in Karma and social ideology, and who was a down to earth, organized, disciplined person with strong motto and principles in life. He inherited the ability to administrate and implement the plan with the complete teamwork, he always respected other’s point of view as much as he did his and was always open to discussions and learning new things. From the very beginning he was always concerned and wanted to be fully involved in the process of upliftment and betterment of the under privileged and neglected people of the society.

To achieve all his beginning, his goals and his strong ideology what better option can a firm follower of his, his elder son AMIT KAPOOR would have other than, founded the trust to honor him and keep him alive in the name of some noble work for betterment of those deprived of happiness in life.

​

This trust is a recognized, secular, non – profitable organization, registered under the Trust Act 1882 and since then it has been undertaking various activities for the betterment of those in need.
