SEVA KITS
In the wake of COVID-19 lockdown in the country, which led a large part of our community thinking how will they be able to afford a meal for their family the next day. These people majorly consists of workers at local shops, restaurants, construction sites etc. Their only source of income have come to a halt, leaving them with no means to earn their meal.
Keeping it a priority and help ensuring less people should sleep hungry in this period of lockdown, JL Kapoor Memorial Trust has launched a “ SEVA KIT” initiative in Gurugram region.
Seva Kits are basically Ration Kits consisting of dry ration to support a family of four. The areas which have already been covered in the region are Dundahera, Choma Village, Kartarpuri, Om Vihar and many others are on list.
How we do it ?
1 . We collect a details of beneficiaries from local social workers , authorities and volunteers.
2. We procure the appropriate amount of dry ration.
3. Ration is packed ensuring all hygiene standards, into “Seva Kits”.
4. “Seva Kits” are distributed, ensuring high hygiene standards and maintaining absolute social distancing.
