WHAT WE DO ?

Healthcare

While the progress has been made in improving the health of millions of people, increasing life expectancy, reducing maternal and child mortality, the healthcare sector in India is ailing, a major portion population does not have access to essential health services and many of those who do suffer undue financial hardship, potentially pushing them into extreme poverty. We require concerted and sustained efforts, focusing on population groups and regions that have been neglected.

Education

Considerable progress in education system has been made over the years, but a large number of children are still not meeting minimum proficiency standards. Constant changes are made in the learning environment, the capacities of teachers and the quality of education have not kept pace. Focused efforts are needed to improve the outcomes of the entire cycle, especially for women, girls and marginalised people in rural settings.

Disaster Response

The aim of disaster response is to provide immediate assistance to maintain life, improve health and support the morale of the affected population. The focus is on putting people safe, prevent need disasters and meeting the basic needs of the people until more permanent and sustainable solutions can be found. Assistance include providing essential commodities ( Ration ) etc.
